Minister Rev. Amy McCormick Email       Rev. Amy has served as the Minister of the UU Church of Belfast since 2019. She began her career as a licensed clinical social worker and was an individual and family therapist and school social worker for 15 years until she found and fell in love with Unitarian Universalism in her early 30’s when she brought her daughter to the UU church in Ellsworth Maine for the first time. That began a complete life-changing journey that leading to seminary at Meadville Lombard in Chicago Illinois, work as a Hospice Chaplain for Hancock County and eventually into the parish ministry she loves so much. Rev. Amy lives in Trenton, Maine with her daughter Lilliana and a dog named Solace.

Religious Exploration Coordinator Cayla Thompson Miller Email       Cayla is a lifelong UU who grew up in the UU church of Yarmouth, Maine. She attended the UU-founded Rowe Camp in Massachusetts, and went to all the Maine UU Youth Cons possible! She went to college for Art Education and Philosophy, had a career working in libraries, and is now thrilled to be a part of the fabric of UUCB, which lets her pull from all of those prior experiences. She is married to David, and is the proud mama of three young children.
Director of Music Ellie Daniels Email       Ellie has been a church musician since she was a young teenager. She attended Kirkland College as a Music Major before being lured away from school to homestead in Maine. She was an early member of the UUCB congregation before taking 13 years away to work as the accompanist at another church. She returned to UUCB as the accompanist in 2014. In 2017, she retired as a community midwife, allowing her to add the commitment of Choir Director. Ellie loves singing, arranging, and the challenge of frequently learning new pieces for her piano repertory. She also thrives on working with people of all musical abilities in the choir.
